When tuning the mast it is necessary to take the sail off.

Visual inspection of the terminal base, terminals, wires, furler cap and segments .
Check the functionality of the pulley in the mast and spray it with Mc Lube spray.

When descending check the angle and the parallelism of the spreaders, as well as their base and endings.

When descending also slacken D2 (D3, D4 if there are any).

Loosen V1 and D1. Due to previous measurements the mast is to be set in the middle or it will be balanced in agreement with the owner.
Take off the winch (or worm gear) if any. Dismantle, lubricate, assemble and reinstall the same.

Cedere V1 e D1. Con mesuramento precendente, mettere l' albero al centro o, in accordo con il proprietario, compensiamo l' albero.
Togliere il winch albero (o lumaca) se ci ha uno. Smontare lo stesso, lubricare, congiungere e montare di nuovo.

Lubricate the upper bearing of the roller furling mainsail.

Lubricate the upper furler bearing.

Dismantle the lower furler bearing, lubricate and reinstall it.

Inside check of the support base fitting.

Check the deck support fittings on the inside and tension them if necessary.

Loosen the backstay.

Lubricate the shrouds before trimming/tuning.

Tighten up the cables on the factory settings.

Climb and tune D2 (D3:D4).

By tightening up the backstay determine the maximum and mark it.

Correctly tuned masts reduce the effort of the sailing yacht and its crew, increase the wheelman's potential, and the navigation is more secure in difficult situations.
At the same time the value of the sailing yacht rises and the damages on sails are rare.

Mast tuning includes:

check off all shrouds, forestay and backstay bases
slacken of all shrouds and backstays, visual check of terminals, wires, clamps, spreaders, all roller segments and mast
lubrication of clamps, upper and lower furler bearing, mast winch/roll-up worm gear (depending on the boat type) and upper roller bearing
placing the mast midships
tuning up (adjustment) of all shrouds and backstays on factory settings (depending on the boat and mast type)
lubrication of the mast block
marking the maximum at sliding backstays
mast tuning certificate (all essential mast settings will be presented to the client)

The owner of the sailing yacht will be informed about the noticed defects.The same will not be removed on our own initiative increasing the work costs.
(Noticed defects include: cracked roller segment, faulty roll traveller, mast clamp etc.).
The price includes costs for small supplies (split pins, G-fuses, lubricant).
